Scholarship Application

SWE OC FY23 Scholarship and Certificate of Merit applications are open. The SWE Orange County Professional Section offers graduate and undergraduate student scholarships to students at our local colleges and universities, and an endowed scholarship for OrangeCounty high school seniors.  SWE OC also offers a Certificate of Merit recognition for Orange County high school students, nominated by their teachers, who have demonstrated excellence in STEM fields.Start your application today. Applications close Monday, March 13, 2023 (Deadline extended to March 27, 2023).

Winners will be notified in early April and celebrated at our End of Year Banquet in May. 
Officer Elections​

The new SWE-OC year begins on July 1, 2023, and volunteer opportunities are open! We are looking for people to help organize and plan the exciting events for FY24. The SWE-OC leadership consists of the Executive Officers and Committee Chairs who meet once a month to discuss business and plan events. Volunteering for a position is fun, rewarding, and a great way to expand your leadership skills. 

Voting for our elections will be from April 13 - May 3, 2023.  
The  FY24 Org Chart and Officer and Committee Chair Manual -- details each position's responsibilities. are available for you to review. 
If you are interested in holding an officer or committee chair position for FY23, please fill out the interest form.  Officer Nominations are due March 28, 2023.

Outreach Opportunities   


EnCorps STEM Teachers Program as a STEMx Tutor.
