Policy & Procedure
SWE-OC would like to reward our members for contributing to the membership growth of the section. We are offering a referral bonus to all paid, professional members who refer others to join our section (B003). You must meet the criteria established and follow the procedures as outlined below.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You must be a paid, professional member of SWE-OC in the current fiscal year
- Your referral must join SWE-OC as a professional member before the end of the current fiscal year
- Your referral must live and/or work in the Orange County area OR specifically request, on their membership application, to be placed in the Orange County Section (B003)
- SWE-OC officers are ineligible to participate
- You may not self-refer
- Referrals for existing members and those renewing their memberships are not eligible for this program
- If more than one member refers the same person, the first referral received will be honored
- There is no limit to the number of referrals a member can make
How to Obtain Your Bonus:
- Ask your referral to send a copy of their membership payment receipt to the SWE-OC Membership Chair with your full name listed as the referral. Have them also include your email address and phone number.
- Once your referral is listed on the Orange County section roster as a paid member, an email will be sent to you requesting an address to which your bonus can be mailed
Terms and Conditions of Bonus
- SWE-OC reserves the right to change or terminate this program at any time
- Referral bonuses will be determined by the referral’s join date
- Lost or stolen gift certificate rewards cannot be reissued and are subject to restrictions
